Prolog

The PROLOG Language School has 26 years of experience in organising and conducting language courses.

It is a member of the Polish Chamber of Training Companies and a TOEIC and TOLES examination centre. Its trainers are philologists with extensive experience in teaching adults and appropriate methodological preparation.
The school was established in 1994.

Since then it has experienced dynamic growth and is now one of the leading institutions of its kind in Krakow.

Many years of experience have taught us to take a creative approach to the language needs of our clients. We treat each student who entrusts us with working on his language condition individually.

We examine his/her current level of language skills, test his/her abilities, ask about his/her goals, expectations and dreams that he/she associates with the knowledge of a particular language. We advise him on the best course for him. And then we get down to work together.

Our method, which we discuss in more detail below, is geared towards effective communication. That is why, from the very beginning, we have paid great attention and care to our contacts with the students and the companies we work with.

As a result, we know very well who can afford and what difficulties they have. Thanks to the commitment of all the staff at the School, progress is visible after just a few lessons.
We remember with fondness those of our students who, after a difficult start and not being able to believe how much progress they were making, finished their first semester of study with satisfaction, staying on at PROLOG for the following years.
With a focus on the development of the school, we decided to take responsibility for the English language skills of the youngest students.

As a result, we coordinate the work of all HELEN DORON Early English centres in Krakow.

How we teach

Prolog


We teach in the spirit of a communicative approach, which means that:

– we systematically build in our students the ability to communicate effectively in a foreign language

– we place the greatest emphasis on developing and practising speaking and listening skills

– we also work on developing vocabulary and knowledge of grammar as elements without which effective communication is not possible.

An important element of this method is your maximum language activity in class, regardless of your level of (in)knowledge of the language! Successful language learning with us is made possible by the system in which we teach.

Each group is led by two cooperating teachers: a Pole and a native speaker, who together follow a programme for a given level.
